Hepatitis B Support Group
This group is for everyone who has Hep B and those whose love ones are battling with this disease. I hope that this space will provide the starting point for support. I want people to share their experience and support each other. As I understand how lonely and traumatic it can be to battle with hepatitis B alone. I am trying to start a breast cancer surgery awareness group. I was left severely disfigured by a General surgeon named John Henry Winstanley five years ago at Bolton Royal Hospital, Lancashire. I am trying to obtain some support to open a charity shop in relation to bringing more awareness to women (and men), as regards their options when told they have breast cancer. I would like the whole business of breast mastectomies and reconstrucion to be out in the open, as it seems there are general surgeons taking advantage of women in particular when they at their lowest ebb, having been told they have this hideous disease.The contributions I would like the monies to go are the Hospitals themselves in return hopefully for more openness as regards the surgery issue which arises at the time of diagnosis. Referrals should be made to Qualified plastic surgeons instead of the botched up surgery being allowed by these incompetent General surgeons, usually based at the patients local hospital, these surgeons are willing to experiment on any woman or man without any responsibity for the severe damage they have caused through their arrogance and insensivity, and inadequacy to conduct the surgery to start with. I am left in need of up tp £63,000 worth of plastic surgery because of this man's blunderous standard of surgery, which I feel is wholly unacceptable,.

young cancer conference 2009
We have been asked by macmillan to organise a conference for 2009. The young persons conference next year is aimed at patients and carers aged 18 to 35 (approx) to meet up and talk about their experinces and what they have been through with a need to tell macmillan what help we as young people who are or have been patients and carers actually need as a support network.
During 2008 myself and a couple of other local friends associated with Macmillan have met on a couple of occasions to discuss the need for a local support network for young people and we believe that this is important to bring to the next conference.
We would welcome your views and would really welcome some encouraging feedback.

There is also a multiple choice questionnaire divided into 15 questions in (Part A) which must all be answered correctly and 25 questions in (Part B) you are allowed 3 wrong answers in (Part B)

Sensitive Site for Patients and Carers (2nd Edition)
This is a support and loving site. It is only for those who wish to be supportive and contribute infomation and help for others in a kind and compassionate manner. It is for patients and carers alike but only if you wish to participate in the kindest of ways. I guess you could say a "sensitive site" as so many need just lots of hugs and don't know exactly where to get them. Well, I am hoping that this will enable them to get what they need. THIS GROUP IS GOING TO BE CHANGED TO AN OPEN GROUP IMMEDIATELY BY CREATING ANOTHER GROUP UNDER THE SAME NAME. I will ask the the old one be dissolved and ask ALL current members to join and participate here as we need you so much.
